Welcome lovers of words and wisdom. If you are reading this, you have been given the gift of reading from a teacher in your life. And what a gift it is!! My name is Maura Maynard, and I have the supreme privilege of teaching English, its beauty and depth, its power and purpose, to young minds, that is, 6th, 7th, and 8th graders. I know what you're thinking, " How lucky can you get!!" Yes, I am blessed!

March 17, 2020- Announcement: All 6th, 7th and 8th Grade students of Mrs. Maynard

Hello, my creative and hardworking students. I really miss you all! I hope you are well. I have created some lessons on the Google Classroom to guide you through your studies the next few weeks, until we are back in the classroom. In my usual style, these are google slide presentations that you will have the ability to make your own with your responses, etc.

Please follow the dates, and keep up with the assignments. This way, when we are back in the classroom, we can move along with the rest of the year's topics.
